The website https://slovakbc.ae and the Member Zone are operated by Slovak Business Council UAE, Baniyas Rd, Port Saeed, Riggat Al Buteen, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, contact info@slovakbc.ae.

To confirm: Legal form, registration / licence number and governing law and jurisdiction clause are not available in the project and must be provided.

• The public pages provide general information about SBC, its Board, membership options, services, news and contact details. Content is provided for information only and does not constitute legal, tax or investment advice.
• News articles are curated from public sources and link to the original publishers; SBC is not responsible for third-party content.
• The website assistant provides automated answers based on the website content. Answers may be inaccurate; for binding information contact us directly.
• The Slovak translation is generated automatically; in case of doubt the English version prevails.

• Applying for membership requires truthful personal and company details and the requested documents (Emirates ID, passport, trade licence).
• Applications are reviewed by the SBC Board. The Board may approve, decline or request additional information. There is no automatic right to membership.
• Acceptance of the SBC Code of Ethics, the Privacy Policy and the membership review acknowledgement is mandatory and recorded with a timestamp and version.
• Membership fees are published on the Membership page (individual 1,200 AED/year, business 2,000 AED/year).

To confirm: Payment terms, invoicing, refund and cancellation rules for membership fees are not defined in the project.

• Accounts are personal. Keep your password confidential and inform us at once if you suspect misuse. You can reset a forgotten password via the sign-in page.
• Access to the Member Zone is granted only after approval and activation. Roles (member, board member, chairman, vice president, administrator) determine which content you can see and which actions you can take.
• SBC may suspend or revoke access in line with membership rules, the Code of Ethics and these terms. Historical records are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

• You remain responsible for content you post or upload (profiles, discussions, messages, documents, opportunities). Upload only content you are entitled to share and that respects the confidentiality of other members and of Board materials.
• Board-only documents, resolutions and discussions are confidential to the Board and administrators and must not be shared outside that group.
• Do not use the Member Zone for unsolicited advertising, harassment, unlawful content, or attempts to bypass access controls.
• SBC may remove content or restrict features that breach these terms or the Code of Ethics.
• You grant SBC a non-exclusive licence to store, display and transmit your content within the Member Zone for the purpose of operating the platform.

Members receive Member Zone notification emails (events, votes, discussions, announcements, documents) which they can switch off individually in My profile. Emails about the status of a membership application, security and account matters (such as password resets) are necessary for the service and are sent regardless of notification preferences.

• The website and Member Zone are provided “as is”. SBC does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change or discontinue features.
• To the extent permitted by law, SBC is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the website, from member-generated content, or from business dealings between members.

To confirm: Liability limits and any mandatory consumer or member protections must be reviewed by legal counsel.

The SBC name, logo and website design and texts belong to SBC or its licensors. Member logos shown as founding members, sponsors or partners are displayed with their permission and remain their property.
